Creating or editing a document is very straightforward. The image below shows the various fields allowed when creating or editing a document.

Setting a document to private will restrict it to those users that are allowed to see private objects. You can assign the document to a particular milestone as well. Should you need to you can dynamically create the milestone at this point.

If this is a new document you will be able to select either an existing file (from your file repository) or upload a new file.

The file repository path is defined in the administrator control panel. Typically this would be set to a sub directory of your images/stories folder.

Once a document has been created you would change the file associated with it by simply adding a new version. Adding a new version of a file is done from the document view screen.
