The Time List displays time tracker entries for the current project. Please note that you can also view the time tracker outside of a project. This is the only item in JForce that does not have to be associated with a project.

The Delete and Edit buttons will allow you to delete or edit time entries, respectively, only if the time is not billed or pending. Times will be marked as billed when they are associated with an invoice and the invoice is paid. Times will be marked as pending when they are associated with an invoice but the invoice has not been paid. The Download CSV button will allow you to download a CSV (comma separated values) file of the time report. The New button will redirect you to the time tracker form where you can create a new time entry.

The New Report button will allow you to create a new time report. Please see the Time Report page for more details.

If a time entry is not billed, then you will be able to click on the user name to edit the entry (or by using the checkbox and clicking the Edit button). The checkbox will be disabled if the time entry is billed or pending. If you have access to view the task associated with a time entry then the task name will appear as a link that you can click to view the details about that task. The Billed column will display an icon for the time's billed status. The icon for a time that has not been billed will be a red circle with a minus sign. The icon for a billed time is a green check mark. The icon for a pending time is an hourglass. Hovering over the pending or billed icon will display the name of the invoice that the time is associated with. Clicking the icon will redirect you to the overview page for that invoice.

Clicking the calendar icon next to the Date field will allow you to set the year, month, and day for which the time will be recorded. The Hours field allows you to specify the number of hours spent. The Billable radio buttons allow you to specify whether or not the time can be billed to an invoice. When editing a time entry, the Billed Status will display the billed status icon and text.

The Time Report Form allows you to create or edit a time report. The Name field specifies the report name and should be descriptive enough that users can tell what the report does. The Group field specifies the report group. On the time tracker list view, the available reports are shown in a list and are grouped by this value. The Summarize by User radio will group the time entries by user name.

The Assigned To list determines whether the query filters time entries by user or company. Selecting "Anybody" will not filter by assignees. "Logged In User" will only return time entries for the person who runs the report.
